Here at LFA, we feel so lucky to work with a whole host of incredible and inspiring women. With International Women’s Day coming up this Sunday, we thought what better time than now to celebrate the wonderful superwomen behind some of our brands.

Bronwyn @ Lowie & Miss Pompom

Raised on the Australian island of Tasmania, much of Bronwyn’s childhood was spent exploring nature and learning ways to protect the planet. Her passion for design started at only 10 years old when she began sewing and up-cycling neighbours unwanted clothes to sell them at the local market. After attending fashion college and spending years constantly designing clothes, Bronwyn set out to travel the world to soak up the traditional crafts. She eventually settled in London, and in 2002 Lowie was established. With her mix of innate creative talent, passion for the environment and the worldwide experience of craft cultures and traditions, Bronwyn has created the destination for unique, sustainable womenswear.

Louise @ Estella Bartlett

Louise is the Creative Director of British lifestyle brand, Estella Bartlett. Her journey began while studying a master’s degree in Fashion Marketing, selling vintage jewellery and organising charity fashion shows. In her earlier career, Louise worked for Ralph Lauren, Smythson and Conde Nast. After gaining the experience and industry insight, Louise founded Estella Bartlett in 2011 together with her brother Nick and built the brand to become a go-to name for whimsical, timeless and stylish accessories.

Jessica @ LUXTRA

Another Aussie in the LFA family, Jessica comes from Sydney, where she enjoyed a nature-filled childhood, inspiring her to lead a positive change in the fashion industry. After travelling across Europe, Jessica launched LUXTRA to offer the ultimate chic accessories for those seeking environmentally friendly and timeless designs perfect.

In her early career, she launched one of London’s favourite meat-free restaurants - ETHOS - for which she was recognized as one of the ‘35 under 35’ top UK businesswomen by Management Today. Aside from being a talented designer, Jessica is an active speaker at conferences covering the topics of women in business, entrepreneurship, mental health, and well-being.

Kayleigh @ A Weathered Penny

Kayleigh created jewellery and lifestyle brand A Weathered Penny in 2012 with the aim of offering the modern woman handmade and versatile accessories. While jewellery was her biggest passion and essentially a self-taught hobby, she has always had a keen eye for design, fashion, and style.

Carefully considering sustainable materials and designs, Kayleigh always adds modernity to every product she crafts and is committed to offering high-quality pieces that can be loved for a lifetime. The brand recently introduced its first nail polish edit and this year the brand has debuted its first-ever range of leather goods.

Hannah @ Wolf & Moon

First starting to design and make jewellery at the young age of 16, Hannah is a true creative visionary. While studying Fine Arts at Goldsmiths University, she began designing and selling her signature handmade, geometric jewellery at weekend markets in London. Recognising the growing loyal following, Hannah launched Wolf & Moon online in 2011 and the brand is now stocked in over 200 stores around the world. Her creative flair is not only limited to design, Hannah also styles and shoots all the photography for Wolf & Moon.

Mimi @ Mimi Berry

The newest addition to our LFA family, Mimi is the Founder and Creative Director of East London-based contemporary leather accessories brand Mimi Berry. After graduating at Central St Martins with a degree in Fashion Design Mimi launched her brand with a focus on handmade, quality design with craftsmanship at the core. One of the most important factors for Mimi is to proudly promote the Made in England aspect of her company, being among the first designers to manufacture exclusively in the UK.
